Preparing for zone conference. 

My topic is working with members. One of the ways included to have the members call, text, Face time, or any of the many ways to stay in contact with our friends and family. I wanted to suggest that when the missionaries are in ward council to challenge the council to, right now, pick up their phones and call, text, Twitter, etc. to a friend that they feel would be interested in seeing the latest Easter initiative, or one of the many videos on the Church websites.

President Lowary, President Russell, Elder Hill, and Elder Cronin had just finished a meeting (with President Cropper on Skype) planning our next MLC. I asked them to pretend to call their friends and attach a video for them to watch.  It was amusing because they were really pretending to talk on their phones. Of course, it was about the next game of Racquetball game and who would win. 

Then, I asked them to pretend to post a video to a friend on Facebook. Again, the banter about who would win at Racquetball! (President Lowary generally wins.)
