Today we are in Corvallis for zone conference

We start with lunch because I didn't get any pictures before :/
I'm sitting with these awesome Sisters: Sister Santiago is on the left, Sister Wood is in the act of putting on her coat because it has her name tag on it, Sister Mills smiles, Sister Payne was just looking away for a second, and you may have guessed; president Russell has the camera.

Beautiful Sister Gregory is enjoying her lunch next to beautiful Sister Clarke, Elder Hatfield, Elder Egan is either blinking or catching a nano-second nap, and Elder Burgi is always cheerful.

Elder Gittins pauses just enough to take a nice picture, Elder Cluff can smile and drink at the same time (he's very versatile), Elder Briceno and  Elder Elldrege are also very upbeat, Elder Mabey and Elder Danley stop inspecting cars just long enough to get some nourishment.

Elder Pace and Elder Harrison are loving lunch! Elder Christiansen and Elder Ho are also having a great meal, Elder Wikan pauses to give us a big smile, and I think Elder Huang is telling us he has had two cookies.

At this table they discuss the weightier matters of the world, like which cookie is the best, Chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, or macadamia? Elder Cronin, Elder Hill, Elder Finlinson, Elder Opper, and president Lowary continue to solve this puzzling question. (You can see the sisters in the top right corner, now you can almost see Sister Payne's face!)

BIRTHDAY!

In the Corvallis zone the only birthday in April is Elder Cluff!

President Lowary does another wonderful object lesson on obedience. Elder Dopp is in the back of the room with a flashlight shining right at Elder Ho. President Lowary talks about some of the 'minor' disobediences in the mission that missionaries don't think are important. With each one he names he puts a piece of cloth over Elder Ho's eyes. He asks if he can see the light, after about 10 pieces of cloth Elder Ho cannot see anything. That's how disobedience is, it may seem like no big deal, but with each one you are dimming your ability to see the "Light", or feel the Spirit.

Then, he did the other object lesson, Sister Wood turned and was about to smile but I took the picture too fast.

THE CORVALLIS ZONE IS A ZONE WITH ALL LIFTERS AND NO LEANERS!!
