It is again time for the changing of the guards. Elder Finlinson, who is such a wonderful missionary will be going back to be a zone leader. We have enjoyed having him in the mission home so often with Elder Holman. President Russell (or I should say the Lord) has called Elder Dopp to be the new Assistant. We will truly miss Elder Finlinson, but we are so happy he's going to another zone and not home!

We held a special meeting, one in the north part of the mission and one in the south. We had training on many things. The three Assistants put on a skit about two frogs swimming in a 'pond' when one frog named Duck senses that the water is getting warmer, He tell his frog friend, Beaver (the two college teams in Oregon) that something is wrong. Beaver says everything is fine. Duck decides to jump out but Beaver continues to swim even though the water is starting to boil. Duck found out that the pond was actually a pot! The moral: if your companion is doing something he/she should not be doing, they should call president Russell and say, "President, I have a frog" and he will know what to do. The Assistants made these two frogs. They even put felt hair on one to be a Sister missionary, her name was Sister Carolina.
