President Russell and I took a P-day with the missionaries in the Brookings area. We went to a place called Secret Beach. The reason it's called Secret Beach is because it IS a secret! Unless you go with someone who has been there, you will not find it.

In the front is Sister Newsome, then Sister Woolf, Elder Berry, and Elder Hooker. We had to hike down a trail that looked an awful lot like a jungle.

 Still hiking down.
When we reached the bottom it was beautiful! I commented to Elder Hooker on it's beauty and he said, "We're not there yet."

I couldn't imagine it  could be any more beautiful than this.

 Everyone poses for me.

Then, we pose for the president.

 The caves are magnificent!

 ...and big!!

We walked on to another beach that was just as pretty, and Elder Hooker again told us we weren't there yet.

It is amazing!

   This was incredible!
Secret Beach is just to the left. You have to climb up that big rock formation to get there, and it wasn't the climbing up that was scary, it was the thought of not being able to get back down.

 It was worth the climbing!
Below are more views of God's creation!

 Elder Hooker with us.

Just us.

There were thousands of barnacles on the rocks.
Up close.

It was an exciting day.
