At every zone conference the president has an "object" lesson.





In this one, those sitting in the circle had an orange. They were told that it really wasn't an orange, but it was an apple.




 So, they were to take a big bite, like they would do with an apple.

As you can see, the responses were varied.






There were some who were a little hesitant...

 And some of the Sisters took a pretty good sized bite!







 Sister Healy was a prime example of "going for the sweet"!

The point being: the orange is like the gospel to some of the investigators; when you first come to their door, it may seem a little sour, they may not be super excited, and maybe even unkind. But once they come to learn about the Savior, and His Church, it gets incredibly sweet!!
This applies to serving a mission: at first it may seem so hard, too hard! But, then you throw yourself into it and it will be the sweetest two years, or eighteen months of your life!
